These protein molecules will be used to repair the damages sustained by the body from things such as infection, pollutants, and stress. The immune system is responsible for releasing a sleep-inducing chemical, which helps the body to rest and conserve energy. Ensuring adequate sleep helps to keep food cravings under control by maintaining a normal hormonal balance. Controlling one's appetite through sleep is just another of sleep's many benefits.
